Abstract
Time-resolved photothermal deflection studies on highly diluted SF6/Ar gas mixtures are presented. Different pressure regimes and varying di stances between the CO2 laser pump beam and the HeNe laser probe beam are investigated. Molecular relaxation times and thermal conductivity parameters are derived.
