Abstract
Results are presented from laboratory studies and natural exposure tes ts on low-alloy steels (09G2SSh, 19GFB), welded joints of these steels , and anticorrosion coatings. Test specimens were held under stress an d exposed in various zones of marine corrosion on the Caspian shelf. A higher level of corrosion resistance was observed for the 16GFB steel and joints of that steel welded with PPS-AN-5 flux-cored wires.
