Abstract
Escape and damping properties of Gamow-Teller resonances are studied w ithin a self-consistent microscopic model. Predicted branching ratios are compared with recent data from coincidence measurements. A general satisfactory agreement is found, although calculated results show sen sitivity to effective interactions.
