Abstract
A new Lambda N --> NN weak potential which incorporates the isoscalar ''2 pi/sigma'' meson exchange is proposed. This potential contains cen tral, LS and parity-violating vector parts and it has no tenser intera ction. The nonmesonic decays rates of He-5(Lambda), He-4(Lambda) and H -4(Lambda) are evaluated with use of V-pi and V-2 pi/sigma potentials and are compared with the data.
