Abstract
The Okamoto-Nolen-Schiffer anomaly, i.c. the failure theory to explain the difference of masses of mirror nuclei [1] provides the well known challenge to traditional nuclear physics, yielding the build up of is ospin breaking forces. Here we show how certain features of such force s can be obtained from QCD sum rules analyses. This problem is only a single example of the broad class of problems arising in investigation of the nucleon placed into the matter for which the approach is neede d.
