Abstract
An analytic closed-form solution is presented for the pressure generat ed at the inside wall of a piezoceramic cylindrical tube, which is exc ited by a pulsed laser illuminating the contained liquid. We analyze t he transient behavior of the detected signal, namely, a voltage across the cylinder inner and outer surfaces generated by the pressure and c ompare it with the experimental result.
