Abstract
A demountable S-band single-cavity test fixture designed to study the influence of surface materials and processing techniques on microwave field emission is described. Results for polycrystalline and single-cr ystal copper (machined/polished and electro-discharge machined) as wel l as molybdenum samples are presented.
