IR, UV AND C-13 NMR OF TAUTOMERIC SYSTEM OF PICOLINE-2-THIOL-2,4-DITHIOL AND PICOLINE-2,4-DITHIOL N-OXIDES

C-13 NMR, UV and IR spectra of the title compounds were recorded and t heir spectral parameters assigned. The influence of the electronic pro perties of the substituents on the chemical shifts and on lambda(max) and epsilon(max) is discussed. The above-results prove that picoline-2 -thiol N-oxides and picoline-2,4-dithiol N-oxides occur mainly in the thione form.
