Abstract
The addition of acetic acid or hydrogen chloride followed by the nitro sation of azabicyclobutanes produced 1-nitroso-3-acetoxy-(or -chloro)a zetidines. The thermal decomposition of these compounds under FVT cond itions was studied. The cycloreversion of azetidine ring, entirely reg ioselective, was observed.
