Abstract
Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty is a commonly performed procedur e. The clinical success of such a procedure is determined by the combi nation of the postprocedure angiographic appearance and the pressure g radient across the lesion. This case demonstrates the importance of re cognizing the anatomical variation if proper pressure measurements are to be obtained. (C) 1997 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
