Abstract
We describe the management of residual dissection protruding through t he struts of a Wiktor stent (Medtronic Inc., Minneapolis, MN) implante d in bailout conditions. In general, negotiating a stent through an ex panded Wiktor stent is not recommended, but using this strategy, an AV E (Advanced Vascular Engineering, Santa Clara, CA) Micro stent was suc cessfully implanted inside the Wiktor stent, leading to an excellent f inal angiographic result.
