Abstract
By means of the Townsend-Huxley technique, the characteristic energy D /mu the ratio of longitudinal diffusion coefficient to mobility D-L/mu . and the reduced attachment coefficient eta/N have been determined at ambient temperature for a reduced electric field 50 less than or equa l to E/N less than or equal to 300 Td. The results of the present work have been compared with those of other investigators.
