Abstract
Total synthesis of a unique isothiocyano sesquiterpene, 10-isothiocyan atoguaia-6-ene, was achieved utilizing the oxidative radical cyclizati on reaction of a bicyclo[4.1.0]heptanol derivative with Mn(pic)3 as th e key step.
