Abstract
Census and Current Population Survey data from 1960 to 1990 are used t o illustrate the modest but continuing decline in work force sex segre gation during this period. Measurements are presented for both varying and consistent occupational categories, as well as for occupations wi thin industries; all measures display the same general pattern of decl ine.
