EQUILIBRIUM, NONEQUILIBRIUM AND ACOUSTIC PROPERTIES OF LIQUIDS

The present review gives a brief introduction to liquid state theories and gives the latest applications of the theory of liquids to alloys, fused salts, polymers and the derivative of potential function operat ing in liquids. The application of these potential function to obtain phonon frequencies and thermodynamic properties in commercially import ant liquids like Ge and Te has been described. We also give a novel me thod of evaluation of the diffusion coefficient 2nd its pressure deriv ative.
