Abstract
The title compound was obtained by reduction of the corresponding lact one-bridged biaryl, by reductive cleavage with LiAlH4. It crystallizes from dichloromethane/petroleum ether in the momoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 1847.0(4) pm, b = 793.7(2) pm, c = 1558.7(3) pm and beta = 112.81(2)-degrees.
