In tripotassium hydrogen bis(selenate), K3H(SeO4)2, two selenate group
s form a dimer through a hydrogen bond of 2.496 (2) angstrom, at 30 K
(10 K above the low-temperature transition point). This is the shortes
t hydrogen bond among the members of the M3H(SeO4)2-type crystals exhi
biting the low-temperature phase transition.
