Abstract
The single-crystal X-ray structure determination of the product obtain ed from the methylation of urfurylamino)-N-(2-furoyl)(2-nitro)thioacry lamide, C-14-H12N4O4S, shows that the 4-methylthio-substituted 5-nitro pyrimidine derivative was obtained, not the 1-methyl-4-thioxo-substitu ted derivative as previously reported.
