The cross section for the capture reaction H-2(alpha,gamma)Li-6 was me
asured in the energy range of about E(alpha,lab) approximate to 2 MeV
corresponding to the 3(+) resonance in Li-6 at E(x) = 2186 keV. Calcul
ations in a direct-capture model using double-folded alpha-d potential
s reproduce strength and width of this resonance as well as the nonres
onant capture cross section at lower and higher energies.
