Abstract
Patients diagnosed with a brain tumor and their families are faced wit h uncertainties that result from the progression of the disease and tr eatment regimen. Many strategies can be used to help patients and fami lies deal with these uncertainties. A case report is used to illustrat e how changing needs of a patient and family were met by using differe nt strategies.
