T. Greiner, DATABASE-AIDED AUTOMATION SYSTEM WITH CLI ENT SERVER ARCHITECTURE FORREALIZATION OF THE BATCHING PLANT/, Kautschuk und Gummi, Kunststoffe, 50(1), 1997, pp. 17
This paper describes the technical aspects of mixing plant automation
as a typical batch process in the processing of rubber and latex. The
automation system used here is based on a client/server architecture.
The scope of functions extends from field level, via process control l
evel, right through to the plant operations instrumentation and contro
l level and covers the automation of the technical sequences, as well
as the administration of orders, recipes, materials and inventories.
