Abstract
In the cyclic voltammograms of complexes with periodate and tellurate, the anodic and cathodic peaks were observed evidently for Cu(III)/Cu( II) couples in caustic potash aqueous solutions. Copper(III) complexes were obtained by utilizing ozone as oxidant, and two new copper(III) complexes Ba3K[Cu(HIO6)2](KOH)0.5(OH)2.8H2O and Ba4K [Cu(H2TeO6)2](OH) 4.6H2O were isolated from solutions, which were investigated via magne tic measurements, electronic spectra and Cu2p XPS.
