Abstract
A multiple flywheel has been studied for the purpose of storing and re cuperating kinetic energy. The objective of the design of such systems is a maximum storage and recuperation of the stored energy. Dynamic m odels of the proposed and the conventional systems are compared regard ing energy losses. A coefficient of recuperating efficiency is introdu ced for demonstrating the advantages of the multiple flywheel system.
