Pa. Chernavskii et al., THE KINETICS OF REDUCTION OF IRON-OXIDES SUPPORTED ON SIO2, AL2O3, AND ZRO2 BY HYDROGEN, Kinetics and catalysis, 35(1), 1994, pp. 111-113
It is shown that during the course of reducing supported iron oxide ca
talysts, oxide-oxide interaction occurs at the stage of magnetite tran
sformation into Fe. This process depends significantly on the ability
of the support to produce spinel phases. At the same time, the nature
of the support slightly affects the reduction of supported hematite to
magnetite.
