Abstract
Electronic properties of iron samples being promoted and nonpromoted b y aluminum and potassium oxides is studied using the exoemission metho d. It is shown that, upon catalyst activation in a vacuum, K2O and Al2 O3 promote the formation of the active centers that produce the locali zation levels of weakly bonded electrons.
