Vi. Mikhailov et al., THE COMPOSITION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IN AL-NI-MO CATALYSTS FOR HYDROGENIZATION, Kinetics and catalysis, 35(1), 1994, pp. 136-138
Raman spectroscopy and electron-probe microanalysis are used to charac
terize the chemical composition and distribution of the active ingredi
ents through the granules of Al-Ni-Mo catalysts prepared by one-step i
mpregnation of the support and subjected to thorough washing. It is fo
und that the amount of molybdenum and nickel compounds removed from th
e catalyst by washing is dependent on the conditions chosen to prepare
the catalyst and on the acidity of the solution used to impregnate th
e support.
