Crt. Dorai et al., VASCULAR THROMBOSIS AND RECANALIZATION - A USEFUL ADDITIONAL MARKER FOR TESTICULAR REGRESSION SYNDROME, Pediatric surgery international, 9(4), 1994, pp. 274-276
Antenatal ischaemic necrosis has been suggested as the cause for testi
cular regression syndrome, but the histological evidence for this has
only been indirect. Two patients with unilateral testicular regression
syndrome with vascular changes of thrombosis and recanalisation in th
e spermatic vessels are reported, demonstrating another histological m
arker that can be used in establishing the diagnosis of this disorder.
