Nm. Mettwalli et L. Kelany, MULTIPLICITY DISTRIBUTIONS OF SECONDARY CHARGED-PARTICLES FROM INTERACTIONS OF HE-FRAGMENTS WITH EMULSION AT 60 A GEV C/, Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, 63(9), 1994, pp. 3273-3279
From the projectile fragments, emerged from noncentral collisions of 6
0 AGeV/c O-16 collisions in nuclear emulsion, He nuclei were singled o
ut and followed for their interactions. Multiplicity characteristics o
f secondary charged particles from 434 inelastic He-emulsion interacti
ons at 60 AGeV/c were compared with the correspending ones from the sa
me interactions at 2.1 and 4.5 AGeV/c. The multiplicity distribution o
f shower particles compared with Fermi model predictions, have shown t
hat He-emulsion interaction at 60 AGeV/c can be considered as superpos
ition of nucleon-nucleus and collective He-nucleus collisions. The mul
tiplicity characteristics of grey and black particles are energy indep
endent.
