A simple method is outlined for the calculation of the weak-localizati
on correction to resistance for metallic wire systems in contact with
a superconductor. To illustrate the approach, calculations of the resi
stance correction are carried out for simple systems. We found that th
e weak-localization correction for a normal-metal wire is enhanced whe
n an end of the wire is connected to a superconductor instead of a nor
mal-metal probe. A similar enhancement is also seen in a normal-metal
ring in contact with a superconductor. Resistance oscillations with un
usual period hc/4e are discussed for a doubly-connected structure cont
aining a superconducting segment.
