Abstract
The paper deals with the study of the coordination compounds of Fe(III ) and Ln(III) with hydroxyphenylalanine (tyrosine). The compounds with general formula FeLn(Tyr)6 .nH2O, Fe2Ln(Tyr)9 .nH2O and FeLn2(Tyr)9 . nH2O (Ln(III) = La-Dy) were characterized by electronic and IR spectra as well as by magnetic measurements.
