Abstract
With the aim of determining the phenology of Laurencia pinnatifida (Hu dson) Lamouroux, in Tenerife (Canary Islands), a periodical observatio n was carried out during one year, in which sterile, male, female, tet rasporangial and mixed phases plants were observed. The existence of s pecimens bearing tetrasporangia and spermatangial receptacles (mixed p hases) constitutes a novelty within the genus Laurencia Lamouroux.
