Abstract
Nineteen compounds are characterized by GC/MS and Kovats Indices in th e oil of tipo, Minthostachys mollis Griseb., from Ecuador. The major c ompounds are 29.34 +/- 3.94% neomenthol, 24.00 +/- 5.23% menthone, 20. 55 +/- 3.33% menthol, and 8.96 +/- 1.65% piperitone.
