Abstract
A variety of 2-aryl-2,3-dihydro-oxazolo[3,2 : 1,2]pyrrolo[3,4 : 3,2]py ridin-5?? -one and 2-aryl-2,3-dihydro-oxazolo[3,2 : 1,2]pyrrolo[3,4 : 2,3?? ]pyrrolo[3,4 : 2,3]pyridin-5-one were prepared. The absolute con figuration of the chiral centers were studied thoroughly from which th e structural and stereoformulae of these compounds were deduced by usi ng nmr and micro-analysis technique.
