Abstract
The use of time domain and frequency domain techniques in the analysis of geomorphological time series is discussed and the techniques of sp ectral analysis are introduced. An Excel worksheet is used to analyse wave-current data from Slapton Sands in Devon and the advantages and l imitations of the technique are listed.
