Comparison of analytical results obtained for geochemical reference sa
mples with accepted results is tedious and error prone. Graphical repr
esentation facilitates comparison. Nevertheless, currently used diagra
ms lack representativeness when a wide range of concentrations are stu
died. A newly designed graph representing normalized results against c
oncentrations is proposed. It allows comparison of a wide range of con
centrations and helps detect analytical problems for particular ranges
of concentrations.
