Abstract
In patients with diabetes, the cutaneous signs of the infections that occur are multiple. A high index of suspicion for infection must be ma intained while caring for the diabetic patient. Early recognition and prompt treatment will hopefully prevent some of the devastating outcom es that are seen in this group of patients.
