Ky. He et al., A STRUCTURAL INVESTIGATION OF A FE73.5CU1NB3SI13.5B9 NANOCRYSTALLINE SOFT-MAGNETIC MATERIAL, Journal of applied physics, 75(7), 1994, pp. 3684-3686
Structural characteristics of Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 soft magnetic alloy
s that were rapidly solidified and then annealed at various temperatur
es between 400 and 600-degrees-C have been studied. Variations of the
Si content in the nanocrystalline alpha-Fe(Si) phase for the alloys wi
th the annealing temperatures are determined. A maximum volume fractio
n, less than 70%, of the alpha-Fe(Si) phase is given by the Si-content
results. The relationship between the structural characteristics and
the magnetic properties for the alloys is discussed.
