Abstract
Using the deformation parameters estimated by the TRS calculations for a given configuration, nucleus and rotational frequency (= 150 keV), we solve the HFBC equations and compare the calculated dynamical momen ts of inertia of a number of configurations in odd-Z rare-earth nuclei with those in the neighbouring even-even isotones. We obtain a simila r number of ''identical'' [402 5/2] bands, as was obtained in the anal ysis of experimental data. The mechanism of the occurrence of identica l bands in the calculation is analyzed.
