Abstract
A simple apparatus for the measurement of thermal resistance of thin s amples about 10(-3)W(-1).m(2).K and of thickness about one milimeter i s presented. This system is a mini-hot plate which is not guarded with self calibrable and massive fluxmeters. The main advantages of this s ystem are the low cost, the small size and the poor need of experiment al precautions. This method is used to measure thin plates made of fib erglass-epoxy composite materials.
