The authors study momentum and heat transfer in the boundary layer sur
rounding an axisymmetric body in the case of an established laminar ne
wtonian flow. An ascendant free convection, a rotary convection and an
axial forced convection are taken into account. The authors propose t
wo computer programs for the determination of the velocity and tempera
ture fields in the boundary layer. The first is numeric and users the
Gortler's development. These programs also give the local values about
Nusselt number and friction coefficients on the body. An another prog
ram is used to make the calculation of the flow field at the outside o
f the boundary layer using a method singularities. They show the compl
ementarity of the two methods.
