Abstract
The development of high sensitivity mass spectrometry to measure Pb is otopes in Arctic and Antarctic snow and ice has provided a powerful to ol for identifying sources of global Pb pollution. The combination of isotope abundance information with concentration measurements adds ano ther dimension to analytical chemistry.
