Seeds of Acer oblongum, Anogeissus latifolia, Kydia calyciana, Sapindu s mukorossi, Terminalia belerica and T. chebula were germinated at 10 degrees C, 25 degrees C, 30 degrees C for 10 days. Seeds which did not germinate at lower temperatures were transferred to higher temperatur es. No germination was reported at 10 degrees C. In S. mukorossi maxim um seed germination was recorded at 30 degrees C while for A. latifoli a minimum germination was at 25 degrees C.
