Abstract
We report the generation of powerful, widely tunable femtosecond radia tion by parallel synchronous pumping of two singly resonant optical pa rametric oscillators with an additive-pulse mode-locked Nd:glass laser . For a single-pulse energy of 10 nJ, a tuning range of 0.9-1.5 mu m i s achieved with pulse durations of 120 +/- 20 and 200 +/- 20 fs. The t ime jitter is estimated to be +/-50 fs.
