Abstract
The behaviour of a thermally assembled shrink fit-consisting of an ela stic-plastic ring and a solid disk subject to rotation is investigated . Special attention is paid to the evolution of the interface pressure . All the results are based on Tresca's yield condition and the flow r ule associated with it.
