Abstract
The paper presents the results of study of absorption spectra of chose n ternary Ln/NTA/Tiron systems. The analysis of the spectra has been p erformed to test the possibility of using the ternary complexes for th e spectrophotometric determination of lanthanide(III) ions. The system Er/NTA/Tiron, showing the highest value of molar absorptivity, was se lected for spectrophotometric determination of the erbium ion. An acce ptable level of other lanthanide ions and yttrium introduced into the Er(III) solution was determined.
