Abstract
A generalized two-dimensional directed sandpile automaton is studied n umerically with a set of dynamic rules which mimic the effects of frus tration due to negative bonds. It is found that the self-organized cri tical state exists; however, the coherence length remains finite as lo ng as the number of time steps is finite.
