Abstract
Naturally encoded human soluble fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 wa s cloned, abundantly expressed by recombinant baculovirus-infected ins ect cells and purified to apparent homogeneity. Pure soluble receptor bound as monomeric and dimeric complexes and inhibited the mitogenic a ctivity of basic and acidic fibroblast growth factors. (C) 1994 Academ ic Press, Inc.
