Abstract
Strong solvent dependence of vibronic structures in C-70 fluorescence spectrum, in the opposite direction from the Ham effect observed in be nzene and pyrene, is attributed to perturbations in vibronic coupling and/or polarity dependence of excited state potential energy surface.
