Abstract
It is shown that a Bose system and a classical spin model are basicall y nonequivalent. Scaling fields and other properties of the quantum sy stem cannot be calculated in a physically meaningful fashion without t aking into account the effects of the process which transforms the Ham iltonian into a classically equivalent form.
