Abstract
Positron lifetime spectroscopy (PLS) was used to investigate nanocryst alline Ag compacted under different pressures. The results indicate th at the formation of interfaces in nanocrystalline Ag is completed esse ntially at the pressure p = 0.6 GPa. Based on this results, a density criterion D0 almost-equal-to 96% was proposed for the formation of bul k nanostructured materials.
